Catching bad habits early...

I've been making excuses. Prolonging the things that I said I would do in 2013, all out of fear! It's 2013 and I have goals that have to be accomplished this year, I have work to put in. My pace has been to slow, I've been bringing up the same excuses. Thinking about those excuses I've been making, makes me irritable. But I am still growing, and I'm catching those bad habits early. 2013 No more excuses, let's make up for time lost! I could go on and on talking how I'm going to change, but like my late uncle Ali Clanton use to always say "Don't Talk About It, Be About It!"

We are the company we keep.

Time and time again I am reminded of how we are the company we keep. I heard Singer/Actor Tyrese Gibson rave about life changing advice he received from Actor Will Smith, "You can often tell how far your life and career will go based on the five people you spend the most time with." Well said, how can you expect to achieve such great things in life when the people your always around don't uplift, motivate and add some type of value to your life! That doesn't mean drop everyone you know that you feel doesn't add value but it means reevaluate how much time you are giving those people. Whether you believe it or not we are the company we keep. I'm trying to spend time with motivators, confidants and people who add value to my life. What about you??
