Why Beyonce and Jay Z are the greatest!

It's no secret to my close family and friends on how much I love Jay-z and Beyonce. Last week a dream of mine came true when I got to attend their On The Run Tour concert. The show itself was beyond amazing, and I don't want to ruin it for people who plan to watch the show on HBO in the coming months. But I wish to share what I feel was my favorite part of the show, and its not what you would expect to be my favorite because it was a few words not lyrics said by jay-z. Days after the concert his words have been playing over and over in my head over and over.  He said, "dream big and be unrealistic." He also explained that a girl from houston(beyonce) and a boy(him) from Brooklyn being at the stadium performing for all of us was once unrealistic.

I think that his words touch me so much, because I feel like he is living proof that the sky is really the limit. And even after many people may write you off in life, you still can do it. Overall I think that his small message gave me hope, not just his words but their entire concert because as they played some of their hits that are 10 years old,I realized that it took great time and effort to become the greats that they are. It wasn't overnight that they got to the top level of selling out stadiums. It shows me that I too can become great overtime,  If i do my due diligence, and keep climbing and moving in my career.

7 Major Changes that Allow for Self-Improvement

Today, I'm sharing simple but potentially life changing tools that have improved areas in my life and more certainly things that I feel can help improve yours as well if you give them a shot.

#1) Spending Time Alone

I have found that I have learned a lot about myself when spending time alone. I got a chance to learn what I enjoyed and didn't enjoyed without factoring in others feelings.  As I learned more about myself it was easier to learn and observe more about others while out.

#2) Daily Reflection

It's the daily goals that we set that allows us to eventually accomplish the major goals. And from personal experience I feel deeply that a little daily reflection is a game changer because when you force yourself to answer 'how can you improve for tomorrow', you come up with answers and you make little improvements that turn into big ones.

#3) Reading

1. It improves your reading skills. 2. Improves your social skills. 3. Because I said so lol.

#4) Writing Down Ideas

The best way I can think to improve yourself, is to simply think of ways to do so.  Example. the idea of cutting bad habits

#5) Working on Passion Projects

When I was working long hours at the mall making what seemed to be a lot of $, I still didn't feel more alive until I'd come home and start working on my book. I think it gave me hope that I was still moving forward to do something I love for a living.

#6) Reward your Progression!

No matter how old you are, you still have the little kid in you that feels good when your hard work is noticed, so before anyone else starts notices, you reward your own progression and celebrate yourself.

#7) Help me Come with the last Self-improvement Tool.

All you have to do is comment a useful tool below. Please and thank youuu.  Also, if you have found this article helpful please share it with a friend.

Stress, Stress, go Away...Don't Come Back

Every time something has gone wrong in my life, I have focused too much of the why of the things. "Why did this happen?" "Why is it happening at this time." But no longer is that me. I had to ASK myself what does that help? And I realized it never helped anything.

Now when things go "wrong" I've realized that there are only two things that will happen either you'll conquer or be conquered by the circumstances. I had to make up my mind that the only real option was and is to conquer, because being conquered means to give up and give in. And if someone out there is depending on me or you to conquer then there is no such thing as being conquered.

The best thing to do is to move forward and count your blessings and I know it's easier said then done to count the good things that have happened when everything seems to be falling apart but it's necessary in order to move forward. In order to continue to be blessed in your life you have to learn to appreciate all that you have been through, to get to where you are going.

How to Get Closer to Your Dreams?

We all have dreams but why don't we all attempt to follow our dreams?

I think I have the answer and it is certainty. The reason we hesitate to follow our dreams is that we aren't sure if we'll reach them or not. Because think about if we all were 100% certain that chasing our dreams would get us the life that we desire, no one would delay another second. But it's the doubt and fears which keep us right where we are; far from our dreams.

I believe you have to create a sense of certainty in your head that your dreams will come true. "Fake it until you make it",  which means seeing your dreams come true way before they happen. And as you develop a sense of certainty that it will happen, you also increase your faith.

You may know where you want to go but no one knows how they'll exactly get there. So you MUST grow faith and realize that everything will fall into place as you move closer to your dreams.
Today, choose to focus on one step that gets you closer to your dreams.
And it starts with you focusing on the first step it takes to getting closer to your dreams then when the next step comes along give all of your focus to that step and so forth.

CEO: Writing my first book Part 1 "Book Cover"

I wish we got to see more of the grunt work that it took for our greatest idols to get to the top. I think it would make a lot of us, who are on the path of greatest a little less anxious. The media exploits so many of our idols as overnight successes, it causes many of us to think that we too could be the next overnight success. As if it's easy to move to Hollywood and move up the ladders of success.

I wish the cameras would start rolling before the notoriety.  So we could see some of the nights of restless working, and breakthrough tears that we hear so of our most successful idols talk about.

It's why I am choosing to share my journey. Maybe someone will be inspired by my growth, on my journey to becoming a published author.

Brainstorming for my book cover. I'm such a visional person, I always make cut outs so I can see things together before it actually comes to life.

CEO Tips: Ensuring Daily Results in Your Life

Daily Debrief Notebook

A Daily Debrief allows for self-reflection. Where you take a look over your day and figure out what you did well and not so well so you can improve tomorrow. This is the key to progression, because you don't get to where you want to be with big spurts all the time because a lot times it's the things you do daily that get you there. Such as this form of self-improving.
This simple tool has been life changing for me. I feel compelled to share it, it was introduced to me by Harv T. Eker in  his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. And t's something that is so simple and so easy to do, all it takes us continuous effort to see how much it can improve your life.
What to do on a daily debrief?

Well: one thing you did well
Not well: one thing you didn't do well

Well: explain what you did to create the situation
Not well: explain what you did to create the situation

Goal: make you become accountable for your life and make you aware of the strategies that are working for you and the ones that aren't. So you can become closer to your major goals in life.
