Stress, Stress, go Away...Don't Come Back

Every time something has gone wrong in my life, I have focused too much of the why of the things. "Why did this happen?" "Why is it happening at this time." But no longer is that me. I had to ASK myself what does that help? And I realized it never helped anything.

Now when things go "wrong" I've realized that there are only two things that will happen either you'll conquer or be conquered by the circumstances. I had to make up my mind that the only real option was and is to conquer, because being conquered means to give up and give in. And if someone out there is depending on me or you to conquer then there is no such thing as being conquered.

The best thing to do is to move forward and count your blessings and I know it's easier said then done to count the good things that have happened when everything seems to be falling apart but it's necessary in order to move forward. In order to continue to be blessed in your life you have to learn to appreciate all that you have been through, to get to where you are going.

CEO: Writing my first book Part 1 "Book Cover"

I wish we got to see more of the grunt work that it took for our greatest idols to get to the top. I think it would make a lot of us, who are on the path of greatest a little less anxious. The media exploits so many of our idols as overnight successes, it causes many of us to think that we too could be the next overnight success. As if it's easy to move to Hollywood and move up the ladders of success.

I wish the cameras would start rolling before the notoriety.  So we could see some of the nights of restless working, and breakthrough tears that we hear so of our most successful idols talk about.

It's why I am choosing to share my journey. Maybe someone will be inspired by my growth, on my journey to becoming a published author.

Brainstorming for my book cover. I'm such a visional person, I always make cut outs so I can see things together before it actually comes to life.

CEO Tips: Ensuring Daily Results in Your Life

Daily Debrief Notebook

A Daily Debrief allows for self-reflection. Where you take a look over your day and figure out what you did well and not so well so you can improve tomorrow. This is the key to progression, because you don't get to where you want to be with big spurts all the time because a lot times it's the things you do daily that get you there. Such as this form of self-improving.
This simple tool has been life changing for me. I feel compelled to share it, it was introduced to me by Harv T. Eker in  his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. And t's something that is so simple and so easy to do, all it takes us continuous effort to see how much it can improve your life.
What to do on a daily debrief?

Well: one thing you did well
Not well: one thing you didn't do well

Well: explain what you did to create the situation
Not well: explain what you did to create the situation

Goal: make you become accountable for your life and make you aware of the strategies that are working for you and the ones that aren't. So you can become closer to your major goals in life.
